Twas the Night Before the Holiday Order Deadline

Twas the night before the holiday order deadline,
And all through the shop,
Not a printer was idle,
Not even for crop.
The DTF transfers were printed with care,
In hopes that the customers soon would be there.
The hoodies were hung on the rack with great pride,
While gang sheets were nested on every side.
The team in their aprons, me at my press,
Had just settled down from the holiday stress.
When out in the parking lot there arose such a clatter,
I sprang from the UV printer to see what was the matter!
Away to the window I flew like a flash,
Half expecting FedEx with a last-minute dash.
But what to my wondering eyes did appear,
But customer after customer, all bringing good cheer!
With pickups so quick and thank-yous so bright,
I knew in a moment this was our best night.
More rapid than eagles, the orders they came,
As Danee called them out, and checked off each name:
Now, Maricopa! Now, Casa Grande! Now, Phoenix and more!
On, Chandler! On, Gilbert! All coming through our door!
To the top of the order list! To the end of the call!
Now deliver! Deliver! Deliver to all!
The laser engraver hummed its sweet tune,
While stickers were cut beneath the Arizona moon.
The climate control kept everything right,
Perfect conditions, from morning till night.
And then, in a twinkling, I heard on the roof—
Wait, that is just pigeons. Never mind. Moving on. Poof!
Each order completed with veteran-owned pride,
From custom transfers to stickers nationwide.
Our eyes—how they twinkled! Our service, how merry!
Our turnaround times made competitors wary!
With a nod of my head and a turn of the heat press,
I gave them to know they had nothing to stress.
We spoke not a word, but went straight to our work,
And filled all the orders; then turned with a smirk.
And laying our finger aside of our nose,
We realized the shop had that new transfer smell—not quite a rose.
We sprang to our vehicles, to the team gave a whistle,
And away we all drove like a heat-pressed missile.
But I heard us exclaim, ere we drove out of sight—
HAPPY HOLIDAYS TO ALL,
AND TO ALL A GOOD PRINT! 🎄✨
